Reading Seven took us to an article about the aRMADILo lab here at the University (link below). This lab is tied to the work of David Gerhard. David was probably one of the top three speakers that we had all semester. David's example of the 3D printer was a perfect example the ever expanding field of Creative Studies. Its for devices like this that make me feel that Creative Studies is all about innovation. The components that are used in the 3D printer weren't around when the first printers or even colour printers. When those components did become available a smart mind put them together and innovated the way a printer can work.
